Great Christmas Fun, but hard to connect some of the little people Dec 28, 2010 By Shopping "Mom"
My 2 year old got the LP Santa Playset for Christmas and has fun playing with it about 30 minutes out of each day. My oldest daughter, who is 6, has been playing with it more. They both like the Christmas theme and tunes that come along. Our only complaint is that is that it's tough for all of us to get Santa to stick on the chimney and equally hard to pull the switch next to Santa while on the chimney. Also, the reindeer can stick in place under the sleigh reins, but if you try to pick it up, it will fall right out, it's only good for sliding along a hardwood floor (maybe a non shaggy carpet too). The other characters don't click in the sleigh very easy, but you can set them in, side by side and have up to 2 little people in the sleigh. Otherwise, the kids love to ring the doorbell and hear turns and children laughing, also the doormat is another fun button to hear Christmas tunes. It's easy to fold up and put away. We live in a small house and I often put toys like this away for a week or so, then bring it out on a day the kids are acting bored, by then they are excited to play with a toy like this again. Since Christmas is over, but the Children's favorite time, this will be a hit throughout the year. We also got the Halloween playset, but we decided to give that one to our 2 year old on her birthday, in the Fall, I'm sure the girls will love to have another village like this one.

Adorable toy. I bought it for my 28 month old twins and they've had it for a couple days and love it. There's no volume adjustment, so it's a tiny bit loud, but the sounds and songs are cute.

My twins have low muscle tone and so can't reach very high and struggle to push hard buttons, but they are able to enjoy this particular toy to it's fullest.

I bought this toy for my 15 month old daughter to play with during Christmas time, so I could leave it out with all the decorations. It is very durable as all Little People toys are. It however didn't really do alot and my daughter lost interest rather quickly. It could be improved by adding more songs/actions.

Super cute! My boys (18mos & 6yrs) played with this forever! They were sad when we put it away with the christmas stuff! But next year it'll be like a new toy again when it's that time of year! Great buy!
