4Cute $15 DOLL  Dec 25, 2010 By Mom to 3 J's
yep you heard right. These are at Toys R Us for $15. Apparently the sellers have not been able to grab them all in my area. It is worth $15 and it is a fun, beautiful doll that my daughter will enjoy. I felt I paid a lot for the main dolls at $24.99 at Toys R Us but coming here makes me realize I was lucky not to get my eyes gouged or make payment by leaving a body part in exchange.

These are amazing fun dolls but they are getting a bad rap thanks to sellers here who grab the entire box as soon as they are put on shelves. Nasty way to make a living.

Wait folks. Let these people hang on to their nastily obtained inventory. After the holiday, the store shelves will be ripe with these dolls. Kids can learn to deal with a little disappointment.

3Fun, but not Durable.  May 28, 2011 By Auntie
This toy is okay for a 7-9 year old who wants a change from regular Barbies, but it is not well made. The legs are held on by elastic bands - so it is easily broken. In fact I had to order this for my niece because my three year old broke the legs off her new doll in about 30 seconds - and they do not snap back in... it was ruined.

5GREAT Monster High Doll!  Oct 29, 2011 By Buriburi
I assume that anyone who is reading these reviews at this point is pretty familiar with the Monster High dolls already and doesn't need an in-depth description of what to expect. In short, I really appreciate that the newer dolls have an elastic fabric holding their legs into their waist (much less likely to snap!), and I haven't had problems with hands and limbs falling out accidently. I love that the Gloom Beach dolls have easy-to-dress outfits, as well as EARRING HOLES!!! I got a Dead-Tired Frankie Stein, and as much as I like the light make-up, the Dead-Tired dolls cannot wear earrings from other clothing sets.
In short, the clothes and shoes are easy for say a four-year-old to put on and off, and they have LARGE earring holes to fit the extra outfits sold separate. Considering that Draculaura outfits are pretty similar, I appreciate being able to get a cheaper doll and an extra outfit for essentially the same price as the original, "original outfit" doll.

5Simply adorable and a good value.  Jul 02, 2011 By Cosmos
I just ordered a couple of the Monster High dolls a few days ago since I plan on collecting a few. I couldn't stand the wait so I picked up a Gloom Beach Draculaura doll close by in a local supermarket. I'm not quite sure what the deal is with broken limbs that people seem to be complaining about. When I opened this doll out of the package she had no broken parts and came out of the box fine. Even though I am 19 and not playing heavily with the doll, I did move all her limbs just fine, including her hands. I even played with her hair and posing a bit - still no issues. She looks absolutely adorable standing on my dresser. I don't recommend this toy to very young children - she comes with small accessories and her arms do look fragile because they are so thin. I think older girls (10 - 15?) would enjoy these dolls very much.
